Country Study Slideshow- Taiwan

This is a slideshow, as you can see above. It has a video of me talking. The video is not very well made.

  1. Hey Kyle. Well done on your presentation. I think Taiwan is a place that I would love to go to. What do you miss the most about not living there?

    1. Hello Miss Hines,
The things I don't miss are: 1. Duck-exploding pollution, 2. Really bad weather, and 3. DISGUSTING SCHOOL LUNCHES. I miss my friends. Because they are all awesome.

  2. Hi Kyle,
That was a pretty awesome slide show. I liked hearing you speak Mandarin and Taiwanese.
I have to disagree with you about the animals of Taiwan. Taiwan has many animals, bugs, birds and fish that can only be found in Taiwan. It's something I miss about Taiwan; I used to study all the special creatures that we had around our hillside cottage. Do you remember the baby squirrel and the Formosan mole shrew? They are both endemic to Taiwan. There is a list of endemic animals on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_endemic_species_of_Taiwan
I miss the beautiful seashore and mountains and the excitement of Taipei City. I don't miss the earthquakes or typhoons. How about you?

    1. Greetings Mother,
Oh wow, I did not know that there are so many endemic animals. I also miss the stuff you do, ie. Beautiful seashore and Taipei, but the thing I miss the most are MILK BALLS! They are so tasty, and if Miss Hines sees this, if you go to Taiwan you need to eat MILK BALLS! because they taste good. I also don't really miss the pollution, which exploded a giant duck (true story), or the earthquakes and the typhoons.
      BYE! -Kyle

  3. And, Miss Hines, you should definitely go! It's quite easy and cheap to travel around, but still very different from NZ.
